In today’s video, I’m going to show you how to make a beautiful paper lotus flower. This easy DIY project only requires three pieces of square paper and a few simple steps. Let’s get started!
Prepare Your Paper: Start with three pieces of square paper, each measuring 7.5x7.5 cm. Take one piece, fold it in half, and cut along the crease to make two pieces.
Fold and Shape: Fold one piece in half again and then fold all four corners into the middle crease. Fold it in half, keeping the corner folds intact. Fold it in half once more to create a smaller, compact shape. Repeat this process to make six pieces in total.
Assemble the Flower: Pair two folded pieces together to form one set. Repeat this step to make three pairs. Tie these pairs together with a clear rubber band to form a star-like shape.
Create the Petals: Flip the star over and gently fold one layer of paper on each side to create petals. Repeat this for all sides on the first layer, then repeat on the second layer. Loosen the petals slightly for a natural look.
Add the Leaf: Take a square piece of paper and fold it in half three times. Cut it into a leaf shape and glue it to the bottom of your lotus flower.
